Planning Proposal to rezone land to B4 Mixed Use, reclassify community land and amend building height and floor space ratio controls
The planning proposal seeks to amend the Wagga Wagga LEP 2010 to facilitate additional high-density mixed-use development on land bound by Morgan, Murray and Forsyth Streets.
The proposed amendments to the LEP are as follows:
- Reclassify community land to operational land;
- Rezone land from RE1 Public Recreation and R1 General Residential to B4 Mixed Use;
- Increase the maximum building height control from 16 metres to 35 metres; and
- Remove the 2:1 floor space ratio control and apply no floor space ratio.
