- Expansion of Council's Clause 6.8 'Design Excellence' clause to include attached dwellings, multi-dwelling housing and shop-top housing
- Reducing the height of buildings of various locations currently at 17.5m to 16.5m to encourage better design outcomes
- Rezone land to better align with current land uses
- Update/amend Schedule 5 of Hornsby LEP 2013 (Heritage) to correct anomalies created by the introduction of the standard instrument LEP.
