Summary The planning proposal seeks to reclassify Oliver Street and Lawrence Street carparks in Freshwater Village from 'community' to 'operational' land under the Local Government Act 1993; as well as rezone the carparks from Zone RE1 Public Recreation to Zone SP2 Infrastructure and introduce a maximum building height of 3 metres.

Council lodged a revised planning proposal dated June 2019 to meet the adequacy requirements of the Department's A Guide to Preparing Planning Proposals (August 2018).
