The purpose of the planning proposal is to make the following general housekeeping amendments to Byron LEP 2014 including:
- correct various minor mapping anomalies;
- update Schedule 5 Environmental Heritage and associated maps;
- update the areas zoned E1 National Park and Nature Reserve;
- update the acid sulfate soils map for land at Brunswick Heads, Tallow Creek and Ocean Shores; and
- rezone Lot 60 Beech Street, Suffolk Park, from SP2 Infrastructure to part RE1 Public Recreation and part R2 Low Density Residential and amend associated development standards.
