To amend Pittwater LEP 2014 to enable seniors housing at 2 & 4 Nooal Street and 66 Bardo Road, Newport
The planning proposal seeks to enable senior housing on land at 2 and 4 Nooal Street and 66 Bardo Road, Newport through an amendment to Pittwater Local Environmental Plan 2014.
The planning proposal is a result of a rezoning review (Dept Ref: RR_2018_NBEAC_001_00). The Sydney North Planning Panel considered the rezoning review request on 2 May 2018 and unanimously determined the proposal should be submitted for a Gateway determination (Panel Ref: 2018SNH008).
Northern Beaches Council accepted the role of planning proposal authority (PPA) in June 2018. The PPA is responsible for ensuring that the level of detail in the planning proposal document is sufficient to respond to the statutory requirements of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979 and the requirements set out in the Department's A Guide to Preparing Planning Proposals (2018).
On 14 June 2019, Council submitted a planning proposal (version 3 incorporating Department feedback pre Gateway determination).
A Gateway Review has been requested for this proposal.
