Title Planning proposal to rezone Lot 1 (Testra site) and Lot 2 DP 620838 9 Byron Bay Road, Lennox Head from RU1 Primary Production zone to R2 Low Density Residential zone (13 Lots).

Summary The planning proposal seeks to rezone Lot 2 DP 620838 No. 9 Byron Bay Road, Lennox Head, from RU1 Primary Production (RU1) zone to an R2
Low Density Residential zone (R2) with a minimum lot size requirement of 600m2 under the provisions of Ballina LEP 2012 (BLEP 2012). Lot 2 has an area of 9,735m2.
At this stage also incorporated within the planning proposal is a Telstra site known as Lot 1 DP 620838 (Lot 1) which adjoins Lot 2 along its eastern boundary. Pending advice being received from Telstra, Lot 1 has been incorporated within the planning proposal and is proposed to be rezoned from RU1 Primary Production (RU1) zone to either an R2 Low Density Residential zone, with a minimum lot size requirement of 600m2, or alternatively an SP2 Infrastructure zone. Lot 1 has an area of 2,023m2.
